Last night at Volo (all draft) GLB Saison du Pump - Lovely blend of flavours.. I'm going to have to pick up some bottles Liberty Village Gosebuster - Great name but this was a bust for me. No salt, no tart, no nothing. Was looking forward to this after really enjoying LTM's gose this summer. DDC Dis...

Underdog's - All or Nothing Hopfenweisse

Tried this at the CNE and was pleasantly surprised. Really nice traditional flavours for the style, but with some added juiciness and some hop bitterness in the mix.

I gather this is a new Oshawa brewery, and this is their only beer so far. So far so good!

Spotted about 5 cases of Cuvee Van De Keizer (750 ml) last night priced at $7.50 each. I'm pretty sure this is leftover stock from the winter release, which sold for 30¢ more.

Update as of Sept 30 there's about 12 bottles left and they've been marked down to $6.50 apiece.

It looks like I unfortunately got the only competent cashier at Crossroads. I even asked to get a discount on the expired Maredsous bottles but was denied. I love this location for it's hours, decent selection and the cast of characters there offers a nice sideshow. It can be a bit chaotic getting i...

Crossroads (Weston & 401) clearance section

My obsessive monitoring of the Crossroads LCBO clearance section has finally yielded a little payoff today. Spotted: -Several cases of Malheur 10. 330 ml bottles @ $2.45 each. BB "05/07/15". I'm hoping the final two digits are the year. Does anyone know for sure? -About a case of TDD Shawi...

I would guess they probably sell some LCBO real estate, specifically the headquarters on Queens Quay has been mentioned. It's worth a mint for sure.

I picked up a bottle of Ayinger Brau-Weisse at Wilson & Dufferin, there were only a few left. And it's priced at $2.75, not the $3.95 I've seen posted here and in TO Life.

Re: Karma Citra IPA - Great Lakes Brewery

We don't want to leave people hanging I got there at 6:30 and it was all sold out. Afterwards I read on Twitter it sold out in 4 hours. I guess I should know better, but I got the impression there would be a lot of this available, what with the extended hours and all. I wish GLB either made a lot m...
