the only problem i have with the LCBO now (i had many when i worked there) is that they do not do a very good job with education/distrobution/availibility of craft beer. after shopping in the states ive learned that we actually have very good prices on craft beer, our macro prices are crazy high but...

St. Veronus (congrats on the Golden Tap), The Olde Stone, The Ritz Deli North, and now the Publican House. And Church-Key ain't too far away either. I declare Peterborough the best per-capita beer town in Ontario! Many people have also identified this, so it's a good time to say that there's a Bar ...

Sake from a beer vending mahine in kyoto. Best beer I`ve had since being here is Minoh double IPA from a town outside of Osaka. Here`s one for you lcbo hateres - chimay blue and rochefort 10 are readily available at department stores, yet I have no bottle opener. use the sharpest edge you can find ...

one of the most under-rated ontario brewers, the 10w30 is alway a good buy and the lager is a quality brew. the scottish ale didnt really do much for me but it wasnt bad in any way. i guess this here Macdonald just doesnt enjoy a good scottish ale

i bought a case last night in cambridge, the hops have faded a bit but its still a damn fine IPA, the ST is better right now only because of freshness. tonight im going to do a side by side of the ST, the DFH and Grand Rivers Plowmans.

the DFH 60 min is now sctive on the LCBO site with a price and product #, at least this is evidence that they do intend on distributing what has been sitting in their warehouse

Where to buy ingredients?

When I first strated brewing I did a batch at a brew-your-own place. I wasnt impressed so I started homebrewing. Ive been ordering ingredients from Northern Brewer because I cant find any homebrew stores in Ontario. Where are you all buying your ingredients from?
