one of the most under-rated ontario brewers, the 10w30 is alway a good buy and the lager is a quality brew. the scottish ale didnt really do much for me but it wasnt bad in any way. i guess this here Macdonald just doesnt enjoy a good scottish ale

i bought a case last night in cambridge, the hops have faded a bit but its still a damn fine IPA, the ST is better right now only because of freshness. tonight im going to do a side by side of the ST, the DFH and Grand Rivers Plowmans.

the DFH 60 min is now sctive on the LCBO site with a price and product #, at least this is evidence that they do intend on distributing what has been sitting in their warehouse

When I first strated brewing I did a batch at a brew-your-own place. I wasnt impressed so I started homebrewing. Ive been ordering ingredients from Northern Brewer because I cant find any homebrew stores in Ontario. Where are you all buying your ingredients from?

the new batch isnt as bad as last years. its still not great but there is more smoke for sure. not an oatmeal stout though!
