I've spent $75 on a case of beer before - in Buffalo. If anyone is willing to spend this amount on beer, I would suggest doing the same. In Buffalo you'll be able to get the beer quicker, and you can get a selection instead of a single brew.

I went here for the first time last week and was impressed. It's great to see a good beer pub in an area without much support for anything except the big beers. It is lively pub, with a small patio and a large inside area. They had a good selection of beers, some interesting taps but definitely lack...

One more thing...I know its not on the level of Liberty, but the Rebel House has Big Rock's Chinook Pale Ale as their guest tap. I don't think I had ever tried it on draught before, but I had a pint on Thurs. and it wasn't too bad.

However, it is being organized by the same group as the Toronto festival, so I wouldn't expect there will be anything drastically different (beer-wise). I could be wrong, though. One thing is for sure - definitely less crowds than TO.
