Hey guys, I haven't been on here in awhile, you could say I have been a little busy.

We figure to be about 2 weeks away from brewing, but of course there are a lot of moving parts.

This article ran in the Regina Leader Post last week (front page preview including my picture!), and was also carried in the Calgary Herald.

Most of the articles mention our 5 core beers. Nothing earth shattering, just solid interpretations, though our IPA is targeted at the beer geeks; we've got loads of leaf hops, a big ol hopback, and quite a few years of experience brewing award winning IPAs at home.

We've already got custom barrel racks built for 36 barrels. Bourbon barrels should be here late November, and we just need to make the phone call when ready to get a fresh supply of barrels from the local craft distillery (Last Mountain).

After we use the barrels once, they will then be used for my version of a brett pale ale. Then they get converted to lambic/flanders/sour barrels.

All of these beers will be regular seasonals if you will. Lots more stuff is already planned.

We did a tasting event this spring with 200 people and solicited feedback. A lot of these people were not hardcore beer geeks by any stretch, but the favourites were easily the brett pale ale, flanders red, cherry mead, and IPA.

A good friend of mine has relatives around Regina and use to go to Bushwakker regularly. Next time he's home for a visit, I'll definitely see if he can pick up a few things!
