Why was there no English beers(ie Bitters and Pale Ales) in the latest LCBO release. I accept the fact that both German and Belguim Wheat beers are great refreshing beers, and I enjoy them myself but I also want a hoppy, friuty ale once in a while. The LCBO could have brought back Hopback Summer Lighting but chose not to. The citzens of Ontario deserve a wide variety of beer styles and I don't consider Courage Directors or Double Diamond
good examples of English Pale Ale.

This particular promotion is called "Summer Beers" and includes English brews such as St. Peter's Wheat Beer and St. Peter's Lemon & Ginger Spiced Ale. I understand your frustration with selection but if the LCBO are going to have themed releases, Pale Ales can't be in every release. So why not sit back and enjoy a Brussels White or Whirlwind Witbier or Mort Subite Framboise!
