I was thinking the same thing but no I don't think so, the first one they came out with was the Quad, then the Stout with Coffee and Cocoa and the Quad with Cherries, now I guess this is just the Stout.
It's fully decent which I'd expect for over fifteen bucks. The fruit is tangy and medium-bodied, so there's some sour elements and spicy aspects from the Brett and also the pie spicings, and what seems like pumpkin character... it won't knock your teeth out for sheer intensity of flavor but it's fairly unique and worth grabbing one.S M A wrote:Please report back on the FUNKIER Pumpkin, I love Boulevard beers generally, and it seems to be available online by the bottle.
The Vitus is as expected a wheat ale on steroids with bigger spiciness and fruit density in flavors with some balancing hops.

Haven't seen that Kriek De Ranke yet, but De Ranke Bitter XX is showing on their site now (no stock yet though):gjkerr wrote:Some interesting listings popping up these days ... I saw the Westy 12, which I think someone on here learned from the BO was a "mistake" (weird mistake to make), but now also seeing some other nice Belgian listings (but no in-store availability as yet) such as:
Liefmans Goudenband - LCBO#: 159227 | 330 mL bottle
Kriek De Ranke - LCBO# 642040 | 750 mL bottle
I'm a fan of both - especially the small bottle format of the Liefmans - so hoping for some availability soon.

Did it look as though you could actually place an order? I called helloLCBO earlier this morning and they told me that it was a private order for a business that wasn't available to retail consumers. Have been waiting for this for months now as I'm down to my last couple bottles from the brewery, so will be pretty choked if it was available, even if only for a brief period.midlife crisis wrote:I think gone? Sorry, don't know. I didn't do anything more than click the link someone posted, out of curiosity about the price.

A little surprised, when returning some empties to come across singles of Weihenstephaner dunkel. Priced something around 3.60, definitely a good option from tbs. on the other side of the coin, I almost grabbed a 6 or smuttnose robust Porter, thinking maybe a new shipment had come in. Checked the bottle and got a bb date of early 2016 . Keep up the good work, beer store
