Well, 2019 BCBS Café de Olla is on tap at the Toronto pub right now!

Solid event at the GI taproom as expected. Generous pours of ‘19, ‘20 and ‘21 BCBS with a nice plate of cheese & snacks. Even a warmup beer of Midnight Oil before the BCBS came out. Branded glass to take home. And all the vintages available to have more of after the official tasting.

Plus, nice to hang with Provost Drunk from the forum!

Just to close the loop on Black Friday for this year, I ordered 2 bottles of BCBS on Friday and got the pickup notice from the local LCBO today (Thursday). Not too bad.

I was snooping around the LCBO site and they've updated the copy on the BCBS page to mention the 2022 vintage, and updated the bottle image. A likely indication it's coming back, certainly not surprising that it would again.

LCBO.com release at 10am on 25th. Looks like a non-ticketed event at the brewpub this year pouring it.

Looks like the LCBO.com release and the brewhouse tapping has been pushed a week, to Dec. 2nd.

Today the day I get to hit refresh over and over again for a beer I've never had and will probably regret spending that much money on even if it is great??

LOL. Well, think of it this way. Is it worth a couple of pints at a good bar in TO, which seems like they're $10 each nowadays anyway? I'd say yes :D

Nothing yet. It is truly pathethic the way that the LCBO handles this release.

Ugh. Well I guess I don't have to worry about shopping for that today.

Goose Island posted that the event was still on today, so I guess the draught made it through:
