Macdonald decided to reach out to his future business partner on an online beer forum they were both a part of to congratulate him and see if he’d like to trade beers.
Could it be?
this is the place it all started
This is really cool to hear.

Sad news. Sorry to hear it Matt, I've never had a Barncat product I didn't enjoy. You guys did a great job.

Will have to pop in for a few more before end of July.

I've still got a few things from Barncat kicking around my cellar. I had a Cuvee Matt & Jeremy last night, which I think is a blend of a Flanders and a Saison, and it was great.

Anyone know if these guys have landed anywhere else yet? I keep expecting to hear they're the new brewers at somewhere or another, but I don't recall hearing it yet.

This is what I've heard as well, however I don't know for sure.

@matt7215 care to comment? :)

I have definitely seen him there.
The “Sheffield” bitter that sparrow has been doing tastes really quite similar to the old Barncat ESB to me.
To be honest, I don’t taste a tonne of similarities in the IPAs I’ve had though.

Sheffield Ale is the exact same recipe as the Barncat ESB, IPAs are not similar, different yeast, water, process...ect
