Sad news. Sorry to hear it Matt, I've never had a Barncat product I didn't enjoy. You guys did a great job.
Will have to pop in for a few more before end of July.

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

The Final Boss is great.
I've still got a few things from Barncat kicking around my cellar. I had a Cuvee Matt & Jeremy last night, which I think is a blend of a Flanders and a Saison, and it was great.
Anyone know if these guys have landed anywhere else yet? I keep expecting to hear they're the new brewers at somewhere or another, but I don't recall hearing it yet.

I thought I saw mention of Matt ending up at Sparrow but I could have my facts confused?

The “Sheffield” bitter that sparrow has been doing tastes really quite similar to the old Barncat ESB to me.
To be honest, I don’t taste a tonne of similarities in the IPAs I’ve had though.
Sheffield Ale is the exact same recipe as the Barncat ESB, IPAs are not similar, different yeast, water, process...ectsofakingdrunk wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2025 10:22 pmI have definitely seen him there.MatttthewGeorge wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2025 1:32 pmThis is what I've heard as well, however I don't know for sure.
