Online Beer Delivery in Toronto

Hi All,

There's a new kid on the block, The Beer Guy (http://www.thebeerguy.ca/). The Beer Guy is an online resource for purchasing every brand of beer available in Toronto. Prices are matched to The Beer Store and LCBO prices and there is only a small delivery charge. The is the only site of it's kind that delivers beer within the hour (that I know of) and it's only in Toronto.

What exactly do you mean by every kind of beer available in Toronto? Clearly, from some random searches, you do not list *many* beers available in the LCBO.

Or do you mean any bear as long as its Molson/Labatts/Interbrew?

If so, I do not think your site will cater to Bartoweler interests.

The site's a little slow populating it's database with LCBO products, but they're working on it. As long as you can get the products at the LCBO or The Beer Store, you'll be able to get them on this site.

While I don't really relish the idea of defending a spammer - I checked out the site, A, and there are a lot more products available than just MolBats. Click on "More Beers" and check the "Regional Brands" and "Imported Brands" catagories.

However, I'd criticize their claim of offering the entire stock lists of both the Beer Store and LCBO. From a few minutes poking around the site, it looks to me that they've just copied the stock & price list from The Beer Store, as I see no sign of any LCBO-only products.

Whatever the case, I agree that Bar Towel regulars are not exactly the target market for this service (especially based on that hideous "Top Ten" list...), and it's probably not worth discussing further.
