Woody's Wild at LCBO Vintages Corner in Dundas, Ont
In a very disturbing turn of events, I stopped by my local LCBO to pick up a Tuesday night assortment of "Winter Warmers" only to be struck dumb (dumber?) by a vast selection of Woody's something something nicely arranged in the Vintages section. Is this a sign of the times? Is this a Vintages worthy product? Did Superman reverse the rotation of the earth? I left with six St. Ambroise's Oatmeal in one hand, two Celebration Ales in the other and my jaw dragging on the ground.
I don't know what exactly they are, I've never tried one. The term "malternative" comes to mind, though. This was NOT in the "Cooler and Party" drinks section, it was in the Vintages corner. My disturbance is with the fact that this is the very same section of the store where I discovered a cache of 2000 McAuslan Vintage Ale.

Soes I goes to da Dundas store, I does, and, lo, there ares thems Woody's. Now, I buy Peter's explanation that they're just borrowing space and not a regular Vintages product. But they are displayed on one of those aisle wine racks. You know the one where one bottle lies slightly elevated on top and the rest of the bottles are stacked in a column directly below. They had an entire section, 8-9 columns, dedicated to Woody's. It looked ridiculous.
