Went to L'Amere A Boire and Dieu Du Ciel this past weekend. Had a good time. We stopped in at Cheval Blanc but it was too packed so we left. I wasn't overly impressed with the decor anyways.

Had a bit of what I think of as culture shock in terms of paying for drinks as they came. (See my post at http://www.ratebeer.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=6934 for more details)

Metro Joanette was cool. Lots of different beers, available as singles. Brought back more than I can afford  Some I didn't get but wish I had seen were McAuslan Scotch, and Seigneurale Reserve. Forgot that Terrible and Fringante were SAQ exclusives so didn't end up with any of those. Got a bottle of Eau Benite, and one each of U, U2, and Irresistible to round out the Unibroue experience though.

Thanks for supporting Unibroue. I am heading out to Montreal tomorrow morning for two days and need another trip to Dieu de ciel. As for the Terrible and Fringante they are available through private order. Also the Terrible will be part of the Winter Warmer promotion at the LCBO. We are putting the brand only in large selling stores. This I believe will take place from mid-November until the first week of Jan.

As for the Maudite on tap, it has already proven to be a huge success. So, on that note we are releasing seasonal beer on draught starting in February with a new beer every 3 months. Will keep everyone posted once I feel the need to "Let the cat out of the bag". Cheers and all the best! Maudite.
