I'm heading there for a few days next week (with family).
I'll try to hit Deschutes, Laurelwood and maybe Henry's & Bailey's.
Definitely make it to the bottleshop... though my liver won't get a rest there either... check out what they have on tap!

Beervana - Portland OR
I loved it in Deschutes! Make sure you get the Inversion IPA on cask (if they have it) and the Black Butte XXI. My other favourite was the Obsidian Stout. My friend that lived in Portland said the Hop Henge Double IPA was the best he's ever had, but this came out after I left so I haven't tried it.
Rogue brewpub is just a short walk from Deschutes too. I enjoyed several of their beers and then took a tour of their distillery. They make some excellent rum (with hazelnuts) and whiskey.
Henry's & Bailey's are both excellent. Henry's not only had an IPA section of their menu, they had a whole Imperial IPA section too. Bailey's has 20 beers on tap (all that I tried were great) and I loved the feel of the place. The walls were plain, the taps were all uniformly silver... almost no decoration other than beer bottles.
There are a couple Laurelwood locations in Portland, but even if you don't get a chance to get to one, just arrive early for your flight back. Once you get through security, there is a Laurelwood by the departure gates. I loved the Espresso Stout.

Thanks for all the info.
The Horse Brass sounds like a classic spot, but I probably won't make it with the family. The Laurelwood NW Public House was voted as the most family friendly restaurant in Portland in 2008, so we'll probably check it out.
I'll be in the Pearl district, a few blocks from Rogue, Deschutes, Bailey's & Henry's, so I'll see what I can squeeze in. Higgin's is further away, and looks a little pricie, but if I don't find any Pliny, I may have to make the hike.
Unfortunately we're not flying out of Portland, but roadtripping down from BC. Should be interesting (my daughter is under 2).
I'm really hoping there's leftovers from the fresh hop week!

I had Pliny the Elder at Henry's this summer, so hopefully you should be able to get that there.Derek wrote: I'll be in the Pearl district, a few blocks from Rogue, Deschutes, Bailey's & Henry's, so I'll see what I can squeeze in.
