I was in the Q.Q. LCBO today and happened upon a new offering! It's Hebrew Genesis Ale, from Olde Saratoga Brewing (formerly Ten Springs Brewing) in Saratoga Springs, New York. It's an American Pale Ale, bottle description is a smooth and distictive light brown ale. Anyone know this was coming?
Cheers, Happy Hunting, Doug

Yeah, I knew it was on its way. Their website has been saying for a few months that they were shipping to a couple of Canadian provinces soon. Given that the majority of Jewish people in Canada live in Ontario and Quebec I figured we were on that list. I didn't know when, though, and since I'm not exactly keeping kosher I didn't much care.

Jeepers --- I'm falling behind in my annoucements here !!
Yes -- after a few years of haggling we finally convinced the LCBO to pick some up -- just in time for this years's Hannukah.
It is, incidentally, perfectly harmless and completely acceptable for non-Kosher people to drink Kosher beer.
I would also like to note that He'Brew beer was first - and only - brewed by Sierra Nevada, until just a short while ago when they started brewing it under contract at Saratoga for the East coast (and Canadian) market.
