Has anyone tried their Sour Pumpkin Saison?
It's apparently part of something they're calling their Brew Lab Series, does anyone know what the deal is with that?

I had it at on tap at Craft Brasserie earlier this week. Surprisingly yummy. Thin texture, refreshingly tart, pumpkin spices not overwhelming like most of pumpkin brews. Strongest spice was clove. Worth a drink if one sees it.
I understand that they are using the space were Nicklebrook used to be (Best Bitters in Burlington) which is still a wine/beer homebrew place as far as I know, as as their sour lab.
That would be cool if they are consistently putting out experimental product.
I have not tried the beer but I will if I see it around.

Collective Project Black IPA now as growler fills at the brewery. Pretty damn good!
There's a gose on the way.

i'm very excited about these upcoming releases:

Collective Project New England-style IPA #2 (7.1%) – brewed with Mosaic, Simcoe and Waimea hops drops April 7.
Dry Hop Sour (5.0%) – brewed with Nelson Sauvin and Citra hops hits shelves April 14.
Each will be available through the brewery retail store, then a week later at the LCBO, select grocery stores and bars, pubs, and restaurants.

Sounds great, although I still have a sour taste in my mouth after trying their cider.

Looks interesting, but I do hope one of these doesn't knock Ransack off the store shelves. I'm liking that one too much.

I am just back in Ontario after five plus years in Asia, so obviously I've noticed a huge change in the provincial craft market. I'm very impressed with Collective Arts, as all six of their beers I've tried since my return are strong. I particularly enjoy Ransack The Universe and State Of Mind. Currently sampling my first Sour Harvest Saison.

Ransack is one of the three or four beers that I buy in a consistent basis, always fresh stick available and always great.
The new IPA No. 4 is awesome. So juicy. Anyone else try it yet?
Not yet, but thanks for the tip! The reviews have been great so far.Quotashun wrote:The new IPA No. 4 is awesome. So juicy. Anyone else try it yet?

I was just on the brewery website and saw that IPA no. 5 will be LCBO released in February. Good news indeed, as I immensely enjoyed 2 and 4. Unfortunately I missed 1 and 3. In the meantime, I'll continue enjoying Ransack The Universe.
