Waterloo Brewing

Post by MatttthewGeorge »

Forget the Waterloo beers at the LCBO, forget the Laker Lager and Landshark, forget the Seagram coolers...

I highly recommend checking out the Taphouse at Waterloo Brewing. Very good lagers and pale ales/IPAs, all crafted on a small system just for the restaurant (no take home available). Atmosphere is open and clean, although the music could be a tad higher if you can believe it (it felt a little lifeless in there). Food was just okay, probably best to stick with apps and go somewhere else for dinner. Beers were solid though, definitely worth checking out if you live in the area.

Thanks for the tip! I realize that it is nowhere near the same anymore, but I have fond memories of Waterloo Dark from university days drinking pitchers at a pub near the UofT campus. Good times!
