True History Brewing

Recently had a chance to stop in here, briefly. I was impressed. Their focus is mostly on lagers, and the German Pils and Vienna were both very good. Well presented in an oversized glass with lots of room for foam. Top notch stuff. There is also a small food menu (I didn't partake) and a nice cosy side patio for the warmer weather. Definitely worth a trip down St. Clair West.

I agree. Love their beer and the tap room. It's already in the top few in the city for me I think.

Thanks for the report. I always thought St. Clair West would have benefitted (and could support) a small brewery - glad to see they're doing well. Lots at the end at Gunns Loop, but a long stretch from St. Clair West station on where there wasn't much good beer, save for the odd tap or two.

Actually, since the Jester closed, St. Clair is a wasteland all the way through Yonge St.

Had a good time last night at True History (St. Clair - Dufferin). It's an all German brewpub making great brews. Had the Dortmunder and Hefeweizen, both were classics, lots of body and flavour. Worth the trip to Dufferin and St. Clair for some tasty pints. Food is available.
