I see why they are still available:

I thought inflation wasn't a thing anymore?
Looking for the original Bar Towel blog? You can find it at www.thebartowel.com.

Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

Utopia 2024
In previous years Utopias has come with a free glass provided one sent an email to someone.
Has anyone heard it this still applies in 2024 and, if so, details would be appreciated.

I only recall the free glass offer from one year around 10-12 years back?
Last time I bought one there was no free glass.
As nice as that glass was, even if they offered one this time it is no longer in my price range.

I am pretty certain I managed to obtain the glass the last time I purchased Utopias, which would have been the 2015 edition.
As to the price, agreed - it was a matter of entering my order in a hurry before I had a chance to think twice.

I remember getting one by contacting Sam Adams directly, IIRC.
You could always reach out to the LCBO's help line and see if they know anything.
I'd kinda be surprised seeing they sell it on their website for $28 USD that it would be free anymore.

Thank you for your suggestion.
I emailed the LCBO and was referred to Sam Adams.
Their answer was that the glass give-away ended prior to 2017, which is more recent than my last successful attempt to buy Utopias.
The impact of the outsized price increase is seen in the fact that there are 121 bottles available as I type this while it used to be gone the day it was announced.
Setting aside price for a moment and thinking of value the best part of Utopias is sharing it. It happens that since my last purchase I have been blessed with a daughter-in-law so it would have been nice to have had the extra glass but it's not vital.
