If you're a beer lover, it's not a pretty sight. Theme restaurant/bar with a limited beer selection (Creemore was the only Cdn micro). Caters to the 19-25 age group. At least that was the impression I took away from the Gabby's on Bloor Street.

I live in the neighbourhood and Beer Street was right around the corner, so I could pop in whenever I wanted. The staff recognized me and it was a nice place to hang out in. Now the lovely green and brass Beer Street sign has been replaced by a garish yellow Gabby's sign and they've torn out the wonderful interior. I find myself often wishing to pop in for a Peculiar or a Ringberry as I used to do, but alas, it is no more.
