The Bar Towel

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of upgrading the forum to the new software version. As such, I'm thinking about ways to improve it. So I would like to ask for any feedback, comments or suggestions you have to make the forum better.

For example, I've been thinking of eliminating the "Homebrew" section - it's hardly ever used. Any objections? Would you like to see any other topic areas?

This is one of the best forms I've been on. It's easy to use, conviently (and logically) laid out, you can edit your posts etc.

Please don't change too much. The only . . . difficulty I've had is the that I lose what I've written if I want to go back to look at a page I've already been to or go look up information on another page. I usually end up with two Navigator browsers open.

As for content, perhaps you could elimate the home brewing forum. We don't seem to use it that much, and we could post questions in the General Forum.

If I think of anything else I'll let you know.

I'd agree with Joe that this forum is generally very well structured, and I'd hate to see too many changes.

I'd agree that the Homebrew folder can probably go.

In it's place, perhaps you could add a forum called "New Releases" or something like that, where we can post info and discussions on the LCBO promos, new consignment info from Esprit & Rubiyat, and other such things. It would be nice to have all this sort of info in one place rather than hunting through the Random Talk folder for it, IMO.

It would be nice to have a forum for consignment only so that people like Peter can post their new arrivals. Otherwise they only get mixed up with other subjects.
