The Bar Towel

For all of you Trappist fans out there, those bottles of La Trappe are soon to become collector's items in North America as the brewery has announced that they will no longer be using the La Trappe brand in North America. A long-running dispute with the Trappist order in North America who own the rights to the La Trappe name has resulted in a settlement whereby the monastery will in future market it's beers in North America under the name Konigshoeven Trappist Ale. Many of you will know that Konigshoeven is the actual name of the monastery. Nothing else will change...same beer, etc.... We have a few cases of the La Trappe Dubbel and Quadrupel remaining and there are still some La Trappe Gift boxes in the LCBO with the Dubbel and Tripel. We expect our first shipment of Konigshoeven Dubbel and Quadrupel in late February.
