Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!
Now that the LCBO has proven they can sell small orders. Cantillon arriving here would be a glimmer of hope that the LCBO system might work (symbolically, not sure if I can actually consume anything so vinegar-like as Cantillon!)
I feel like gueuze is a gigantic lapse in my beer understanding, there must be so many kinds and the best I've had from LCBO are Belle Vue Gueuze and Lindemans Gueuze. Glimmerings of great possibilities even from those.
Aside from things already mentioned, I think it'd be neat to see Hopfen-Weisse, either the Schneider or Brooklyn version. We've already had a few beers from each, so it doesn't seem that far-fetched...

Agreed. Russian River's hard enough to find in California, much less outside of their home state. There's zero chance we'll see anything from them in Ontario. Especially not from a brewer who prints things like "keep cold, drink fresh, don't age" on their labels.
Anyway, I just thought keeping the lists realistic might be an interesting way to show that the LCBO could put together a really good release if they wanted to by dealing with importers and breweries they already have a relationship with.
All of these guys are repped in Ontario, and would be a damn good seasonal release for me:
Orval
Lindeman's Geuze Cuvee Rene
Rodenbach Grand Cru
Dogfishead 90 Minute IPA
Nogne O Porter
Hitachino Nest Espresso Stout
Southern Tier Krampus
Grand River Ploegers Vlaams Rood
Black Oak Ten Bitter Years
Brooklyner-Schneider Hopfen Weisse
