A bit of a strange topic, but I'm heading out for a ski trip tomorrow to Lake Louise and will stop at Willow Park in Calgary on the way up to get some hotel beer stock.

Alberta Bottle Recos?
I visited Willow Park back in September. Fantastic beer selection. Very knowledgeable and friendly guy running the beer area (He was on his way to the GABF!).
If you have time check out the Kensington Wine Market. Its wine place, but with a very nice selection of Belgian beers. The manager is a Belgian beer enthusiast and was telling me about his beer shopping trip to Paris. He loved to chat about beer (don't we all

Both the seasonal Wild Rose Barely Wine and IIPA are out, well stocked at Willow Park and amazing, so hopefully you got your hands on some of those. Other Western Canadian seaonals available at Willow Park that would have been worth checking out were Alley Kat's Kilt Lifter Scotch Ale, Tree's IIPA and Loki IIPA. The later if only for being kind of differnet. The real gems at Willow Park, if anyone else is out around this way, are the Hitachino Nest Espresso Stout, the Gouden Carolus Van De Keiser and the St. Bernardus Christmas Ale. The Chistmas Ale was actually over-ordered in 2008, so the bottles on the shelf are over a year old now and are ridiculously smooth and well rounded.
