Has anyone heard any word about the Gordon Biersch that is supposed to be opening in downtown Toronto at some point? I'd heard that it was going to be in the Yonge/Queen or Yonge/Dundas area.

I believe they are to go into the yonge dundas redevelopment that has been on hold for over a year. the same developer that owns that also owns the property that the first location sits on. The developer owns the license rights to the concept. Has anyone been to the Whitby location lately? I went on week one and wasn't all that impressed. It was early on in its life though.

I treaded into the one in Oak Vegas (Or as the commonfolk calls it "Oakville").
They ship the Sauce from the Shitby location instead of brewing it there. What are they, an import brewpub two degrees seperated?
Beer was, well, nothing to throw a party in my mouth over. The food was pricey, but good. I miss Denisons! waa waa waa waa.
The GB is no replacement. Does anyone know if they would brew on premises?
I think if an American Brewpub chain, if any should open here it should be the "Rock Bottom".
Oh, and Beards4all...
