Christmas beer at the Yellowbelly

Post by Cagiva650 »

The Yellowbelly here in St John's Newfoundland has their Christmas beer on tap. They hope to have it in bottles by the end of next week.
I enjoyed my half pint this afternoon. Lots of banana up front, followed by christmas spices /nutmeg finish.

The Christmas beer is now in bottles. They call it "Mummer's Brew".

They must have been all out at the Liquor Store, all I could get my hands on was the Wheat.

I'll look around for it.

Ah, I did pick up one at Howley Estates.

Eeek, $12.50. Oh well, if it's like everything else he has I'm sure to enjoy it.

I always buy my Yellowbelly beer at the brewery. That way I can have a stout on tap ;) It is excellent on tap.

I don't get down to the brewery as much as I should, but yes, the SJS is my favorite.
BTW, thanks for the Westmalle. Been a while since I saw Pete and Dwayne. We better do a group brew this spring.
