We have recently been appointed as the Ontario agents for famous Traquair House brewery of Scotland and we are contemplating bringing in some product through the Consignment program. We are considering their world classic Traquair House Ale, a rich dark ale with 7.2% alcohol and described as "Serious alcohol and fruity malt on the nose...with a little oak and amontillado sherry character" (World Beer Guide). It was selected as World Champion Scotch Ale at Chicago's World Beer Championships a few years ago. We're also considering their Jacobite Ale with 8% alcohol brewed to celebrate the anniversary of the 1745 Jacobite rebellion and now a permanent addition to their range..."a rich warm biscuity aroma balanced by hops and a herbal note from the coriander ... a bitter sweet finish with hints of chocolate, winey fruit and coriander" (Roger Protz). It was also World Champion in the Winter Ale category.
Both would go for about $85.00 for a case of 24 X 330ml. We're soliciting orders in advance to see if there's sufficient interest in doing an order. Please let me know at esprit@primus.ca.

Peter I would be interested if you were able to bring in the Jacobite Ale, which is much better IMO.

I would definitely be interested in a case of either. I had a Traquair House Ale at Chester's on Saturday (and in the past from the LCBO), but I haven't tried the Jacobite yet.

Ideally, if you get them both, I'd like to find someone to split a case of each. Not to start that whole controversy again, but just a simple 12 of each type.

I see they have glass tankards as well. Any chance of bringing a couple of those in?
