My girlfriend brought this back for me from Belgium months ago and I finally got around to drinking it last night. A very nice tripel. The alcohol content was superbly hidden amongst the flavour. A bit sweet almost. I would recommend it if you get the chance. I am now even more eager to try their other offerings like Stille Nachte (sp?)

I've always immensely enjoyed De Dolle's beers - I wish we could get them in Toronto. One of my prized beer-related possessions is an authentic wooden Oerbier crate that I use to store beer in.

One of the best beers I've ever had was the 1995 version of Stille Nacht - fantastic. They changed the recipe in '96, and although it's still good it is not the same. I've even had a draught version of Arabier at the Map Room in Chicago.

Hmmm... is this post about De Dolle or me? Anyway, I'm a big fan so pick 'em up. You can find most of (if not all) of their brands at Premier in Buffalo.
