Can anyone verify what's happened to Kawartha Lakes since they sold to Amsterdam? I was just checking the list of Ontario breweries on another site and it's now listing KLB as closed. Last time I checked, they were still brewing as usual. Has anything changed?

Thanks.

KLB beers are now brewed by Amsterdam. We just received the KLB raspberry on tap, the keg was brewed by Amsterdam. As far as I know, all the beers are still being brewed, but not in Peterborough. As you know, Amsterdam made a successful bid and acquired KLB.

Ian was one of the former brewers at KLB who has been sent in to brew the KLB beers at Amsterdam. I, however do not know If the KLB packaging will change over time (Clear bottles at Amsterdam might affect this). So rest assure, Amsterdam will be under the microscope to keep producing KLB beers that taste like KLB beers, so I have heard by numerous consumers. Ian is a personal friend of mine from our days at Trent University and while working together at KLB. I know that he will not fail those who have enjoyed KLB in the past. Enjoy!

Hope Amsterdam invests in a new raspberry...the one that KLB was using was getting real tired...just a thought, but they could buy an entire basked of raspberries and then produce something akin to real
