Ed at the Black Creek Historic Brewery said they did have a bit of problem with the first batch that was breweed. (But I'm surprised there's still some around). maybe that's what happened. He also said Trafalger brews 75% of the beer and Flying Monkeys brews the other 25% with Trafalger heat pastuer...

Just opened one up myself, and I see what you mean. the last two I've had have tasted very different. Metallicy/bitter taste. Almost like it's going bad or someting. NOT AT ALL like the ones I've had in the past, perhaps just a bad batch, or someone was sleeping on the job. Hopefully it's only a few...

funny, I've heard a few people mention the 'metallic-y' taste, but I'm yet to taste it myself.There was mention of a few bad batches floating around, so maybe that was it, or perhaps my taste buds are just wired, or maybe I like metal, who knows... haha

I LOVE this beer! The aroma when you open the bottle is awesome IMHO. Anyone take a stab at what type of hops they might be using? I read somewhere they use 3-4 varieties. I'm getting a little taste of the Sgt. Major IPA flavour which I believe uses Chinook... I'm thinking maybe some Cascade in ther...
