Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

on tap at Cloak

Perhaps the wrong place to post this question - but this area seems to get the most traffic :) I will be stopping by my old local, The Cloak and Dagger, next week. Can someone tell me what their current tap selection is? I only have 2hrs (and a driver) so I'd like to make a plan of attack, so to spe...

beer packaging

I wonder if beer packaging really matters anymore. As I write this I am enjoying a JR Brickman Pilsner that came in a heavy-duty 6-pack with an ISB that has three labels (back, front, neck). For sure Sleeman built his business on the clear bottle, but we all know where those sales are now. Has buck-...

I don't believe Sleeman is killing Unibroue so we can relax and enjoy a Trois Pistoles. You might be able to. I can't find it in Hamilton nor Burlington. The Beer Store on Cootes Drive has some. Brewed in March of this year. Salut I've bought Trois Pistoles at the Appleby Line BS in Burlington.

StrongBow mix

A friend turned me on to 1/2 StrongBow and 1/2 Guinness a while back. Found it to me a refreshing drink for the summer. I've experimented with different mixes and found StrongBow and Mill St. Coffee Porter to be interesting.

Just curious to know if anyone else mixes?

I am watching this tread and noticing some support for Sleemans, where historically this site has bashed JS and his attempts. I’ve always had a fondness for this brewery and what it did for the Ontario and now Canadian beer market. It has introduced a line of premium products and positioned itself a...
