Try taking a (bomber) bottle of the Sour and decanting it in a wide based wine decanter. Allow it to breath for a while, sit back and enjoy.
This neat little trick was suggested to me by a person who knows the beer.

seriuosly are you mental? You lost just all my respect. DFH is the touchstone to quality and non- compromise. Read Sam's book, its the blueprint for quality. Just because its from the old world doesn't mean its better in quality. In fact its probably worse. Give me the ingredient list form Belhaven ...

A practice I use quite often. It's your money. I hate to make a joke fearing what conclusion someone may jump to. but... Isn't a green bottle the final aging process for a certain lager from Holland. Gives it that nice distinct pee taste. I am sorry if I have offended anyone from Holland, anyone who...

My point concering Creemore and it's container have to do with a departure from the original vision of the product. Creemore themsleves said, a while ago, that the bottle, the size and shape were chosen to best protect the product for freshness and the flavours of the product . These were their word...

My biggest point about the bottles is quite simple. It represents a turn for that company, one I wish never happened. Now maybe I shouldn't have reference a bottle condtioned ale, I was trying to make th epoint that the bottle is an important symbol. Bottles are just as much of the identity of a bre...

I think it represents the depature of the mind set that began a great brerwery that helped begin a movement away from big brewing. Packaging? Ingredients? They are all costs in creating the product. Don't think for one second that a parent company won't look for ways to save money and create more ma...

I can remember starting to drink it a few years after they began (1988 or so?) in the early ninties. Being in close proximity to what I would consider to be fresh beer I can count about 4 changes to the beer since that time. I am not alone and several brew masters have alluded to this as well. They ...

I grew up about 45 minutes from Creemore and drank it regularly. Its brutal how many times that beer's taste has changed over the years. Its gone from a unique wonderful beer that represented everything right in the craft brewing world to just anothe run of the mill big brewery accounting entry. I w...

This is a nicely balanced IPA, not too offending and straight ahead, just like all the other IPAs you can session, YAAAWN. I think what's missing here is that the idea of the IPA was to powerful, big and bold so as to survive transport(?). I guess I am juat tired of the middle. The Westcoast breweri...

Great spot and great food. The staff are excellent and the vision of the place matches well with its wine and beer offerings. I salute any restaurant that forgoes the usual big business light beer and sub standard lagers, in favour of beers reflecting the quality of its food. The Camerons Auburn goe...
