I found the malt & yeast profiles to be similar and I thought they were both delicious...but I'm quite biased!

I'm loving the Vrienden, too, and I'm super super happy with Screaming Beaver. The vanilla from the oak smooths out the bitterness sooooo nicely.

bogwater

Hey There, We have made a few important tweeks to BogWater this year. We used a belgian abbey yeast strain, which really adds character that compliments the bogmyrtle. We also got the bogmyrtle dried out more this year - when used fresh it has more of a weed-like aroma and when dried it is earthier....

I think everyone at the brewery had a collective "oh crap!" moment when we saw the line up of people at the gates. We had been worried about what would happen if nobody showed up...none of us ever imagined this was a possibility. At about 5,000 people someone finally had the good sense to ...

Hear! Hear! From one brewery's perspective, more than half the restaurant accounts we have are because our customers kept asking for it made all the difference between the doors staying open or the brewery folding in the first year. I don't think that customers understand the power they have at the ...

Everybody heading up to Mondial from T.O. should take a one hour detour and visit Beau's. Make sure you introduce yourself!

There still is a black watch outfit operating in Montreal. I had a buddy who was part of it...he always had some very interesting stories to tell.
