With this cooler weather, I’m moving from IPA to Imp Stouts. That looks like a world classer, so great news!

I will second the Sons of Kent 8 Track at Superstore. New shipments are making it regularly from Chatham to Georgetown. It’s my new go to.

Sons of Kent 8Track XPA

Enjoyed a few of these last week, a hazy hoppy Citra ale. Canned July 8 from Superstore. My new fave!

Re: LCBO.com

It is still somewhat available. When you click on “buy in store” then select your local store, you can then click on “check nearby stores” which shows you the nearest 5 stores that have the item in stock, then the next 5 etc.

The iOS app has a similar feature that shows the nearest 10 stores.

50th birthday today

Starting at Bellwood’s hafis at noon, then on to Indie Ale House for lunch, then to Rainhard. May have to cut day short due to weather but will pick up some good ipa’s and imp stouts to enjoy tonight at home.

Re: New Arrivals at LCBO & TBS

Get 2 bottles and it’s equal to less than $10 for a 660ml bottle of 12% imp stout, compared to $12 for 500ml of Kentucky bastard. Both equally rated on ratebeer. But this way it’s easier to drink half and still have the other half sealed. Edit: can’t wait to try the lickinghole heir apparent, almost...

One of Canada’s biggest brewing equipment companies in receivership

This may have big impact on small breweries that have already paid for, but not received equipment

Re: Worst Ontario Craft Breweries

I haven’t tried the beers but I will put in an honorable mention for Old Credit Brewing, with their outdated selection of amber ale and Pilsner, with labels designed in windows 95.

Also the few beers from Brothers Brewing in Guelph I’ve had weren’t too good.
