Burlington Dark Ink Baltic Nitro Porter
I stopped in here quite some time ago now. I have to say I found most of their beers pretty average. I still had this one around and had it tonight, and I will give this one high marks.

Re: Alcohol regulation changes
I just saw a fairly brief article on CBC about upcoming changes to various rules and regulations. It included this paragraph about alcohol sales. Ontario is also extending rules governing the purchase of alcohol across provincial borders. Consumers will be allowed to buy alcohol directly from busine...

I was hoping you were referring to the contents. For that, I would have had a suggestion or two.

Re: What's Your Favourite Ontario West Coast IPA?
I tried the Lower West Side last night - very good. I was picking up a slight sweetness that wasn't familiar to me. Thank you Muskokan for this. The others that came to my mind right away as favourites have generally been mentioned - Lone Pine, Ransack the Universe, Mad Tom, Boneshaker, Headstock so...

Re: Is there a Great Beer Grocery Store?
In Guelph, the Zehrs(loblaws) closest to me has a solid selection and usually quite fresh. Lots of imports but just as many Ontario/Canadian craft. Bellwoods(4 brands)/Fat tug/lots of Great Lakes/lots of collective arts I would say the same about the Zehrs at Conestoga Mall in Waterloo, so I wonder...

Re: Talk or Action?
The only Beer Stores I've been to in a very long time are three of the ones in Burlington, and they are all pretty decent. Thirty+ years ago, I used to live around the corner from the one at Kerr and Lakeshore that Cass mentioned. Incredible that it has never been updated. With examples like that, I...

Re: Talk or Action?
TBS will still handle the "Ontario Deposit Return Program" for the foreseeable future. I am curious what their obligation is for this in terms of geography. For example, if they want to close a store due to poor sales, are they obligated to maintain a return depot within a certain area bas...

Re: Talk or Action?
From the Toronto Star article: "The shopping experience is just dreadful," said Beaumont. "They tried to elevate it with their express stores, but I think almost all of those are gone. Their model really hasn't changed in 40 years." Forty years ago, you had to look at a display o...

Re: Talk or Action?
Having more places to sell beer is vitally important to the craft brewers in this province - they have long argued that shelf space is one of their top issues. So this could be a very important announcement for those that have a plan in place to be able to distribute to these "new" sales ...
