Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!
I need to find some food grade plastic/vinyl/silicone tubing 1/4" diameter with walls that can be fairly easily squished together with your hands. Any place in downtown Toronto (or an online place that has stock) that may have that? I have a varistaltic (peristaltic) pump that I want to use along with a filter. Yeah, yeah I know...but I still want to use it.
The tubing in the Brooklyn Brew Shop kits has thin enough walls but a diameter that is too big. Some tubing I got from the Brampton homebrew place has the right diameter but the walls are too thick. I need Goldilocks tubes.

Expand it? I don't understand. Or perhaps I didn't explain well enough.
The Brooklyn tubing walls are good for pump manipulation but is too big to fit in the pump. The second set of tubing is the perfect size but the walls are too thick which makes it too rigid for the pump to manipulate.
Wow! Look at those prices. I wound up buying some tubing from Home Depot. Once I got exactly the right size it works beautifully. Definitely a much better experience than the method a friend did as demonstrated in the Brooklyn Brewshop videos.
