Hey Propeller... welcome to Bartowel!
The last time I was at the Duke of Argyle about six months ago and was crushed with the news that they were no longer serving Propeller products on tap as they couldn't be bothered dealing with all the problems bringing it over, the bartender informed me that they were the last bar in Ontario to offer Propeller on tap.
Is this true? If not, where can your brews be found on tap in Ontario? I've also had Propeller on tap at the Duke of Richmond but that was years ago.
Thanks for your time...

Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

Propeller on tap!?
Hi Dan,
At this moment, we are unavailable on tap in Ontario. Unfortunately, there are a few issues that make it a bit difficult for us.
At one time we were available in five bars/pubs in Toronto.
The main issues for Propeller are shelf life, quantities of orders and representation. The LCBO requires a fairly high minimum number of kegs be shipped and because of the delivery length, etc.. we have a very limited shelf life (being non-pasteurised). This normally would not be a problem but we have not found overally agressive represenation in Ontario. What happens is that we end up getting stuck bringing back unsold oudated kegs which are of no use to anyone.
We would love to be able to be in a minimum of ten accounts in the GTA and based on shipping volumes I think we could make a decent go of it.
I truly believe the Bitter (and our Porter) are excellent beers and would sell very well in key places like the Duke Pubs, C'est What and the Beer Bistro (are you listening Steven?)
We are looking at new options in Ontario and I will keep everyone posted here.
Cheers!
