So do I. Unless I've missed something neither they or the organizers ever said why FM didn't show.

I guess they had better than expected turn-out because I saw they ran out of the glasses and were giving out plastic tumblers to people by 8:00 or so. The NAC booth only had Augusta Ale left by 9:30ish IIRC, and I think Silversmith ran out of their black lager.

Trying the Snowman beers was interesting.

hey guys!

First, thanks for coming. It was a resounding success. We got about 800 people, way way way more than our highest estimates.

To answer a few of the comments - Flying Monkeys had to cancel the day of the show. The rep's wife went into labour and he had to turn his truck around and go to this hospital. We told the other brewers but never made an official announcement.

re: the glasses - we went through 400 glasses in about 4 hours. I never thought we'd have that many people and we had to order the glasses far in advance, of course. Next time we will make sure to handle this differently and make more people happy with a glass. I regret the plastic cups we had to give out at one point, but there was no other option really.

I am working on making the fest. bigger and better and a small winter event might happen as well.
