Gary I'm pretty sure no coffee was used but could be wrong. I do agree that there are a lot of coffee notes there but I quite like that. Might be why my wife didn't like it as much as other stouts.

I'm fairly certain no coffee was used in the making of Hellwoods. Probably just getting the roasted notes from the roasted barley.
