Well, there's a lot going on in that article!

At first it read like a "who slipped me a new coke?" bitch session and then it settled into a they might buy pepsi. That's when I got intrigued. Many 'breweries' are just beverage companies with beer as a category (think Kirin, A le Coq, etc.) it would be no surprise to see them sell both fermented and unfermented corn syrup.

Seriously though, Brito does not get flattering coverage. I guess that's why he lays low.

And yes, the Goose Island bit does speak to the faux craft thread.
Brands are for cattle.
Fans are cash cows.
The herd will consume until consumed.
