I was going to finish the night off with the Harry Porter, but perhaps I'll dig into last years stash of Cuvee Rene... :D

@ markaberannt - I don't own a massage parlor. But if I did, I would promise you a happy ending. And how dare you disrespect Seinfeld?

So thanks to a link provided I revisited Queens Quay LCBO this evening to find 2 casas of Mort Subite Kriek on the top shelf. Sure fuckin' wasn't there on Monday, but I'm quite used to getting fucked by LCBO.

And I still need Un-blended Lambic.

Suggestions as apposed to verbal masturbation would be very welcome.

When you say "unblended", do you mean not with fruit? Because if so, there's still lots of Cuvee Rene floating around...Hell, there's over 200 at Cooper St. It's blended in the sense that a Gueuze is blended (old and new), but this should do you...Who on earth do you have to pay off so quickly with lambics?

@ JeffPorter

un-blended lambic is a style of lambic, usually 3 years old, that is a single batch bottled as is, uncarbonated from the wood casks, or served straight from the barrel, it is a very hard style to find

Cuvee Renee is a gueuze, not an unblended lambic

to the slippery OP, your best bet at getting an un-blended lambic in TO would be to drink a bottle of Cantillon at beerbistro, if you need a bottle for at home, your gonna need to shop in the states to find it

This is what I was thinking too - but I was wondering if he just meant "one without fruit" because he also wanted a fruit lambic.

I just love that he got into a "situation" where he needs lambic so urgently! :)

I've never tried to buy any Cantillon while in the US on account of my not liking it; but my limited understanding is that it was very hard to find. I usually see people offering crazy things for it on Beer Advocate, is this true?

If it's easy to find, I'm tempted to pick up a bottle in Chicago next week just for the comedy value and the $200 Forever 21 gift card.

It used to be much easier (I remember Premier having shelves of Cantillon, Drei Fonteinen, etc...) but that's not the case anymore with the increase of craft beer, the rarity of Cantillon, the hype, more people into sours, etc... But I hope you do find some - they're always worth it IMO.

There has been lots of Cantillon in AB for years, very well stocked. They also brought in Drie Fontenien, Tilquin Gueze and the De Ranke sours earlier this year. SK had a good shipment of Cantillon brought in 2 years ago, but no stock remains.

It's the Belgian mafia. They only accept payment in the form of Lambic or Tintin comics.

Would loooooove to hear the actual story. Lets hear it, SlipperyPete.
