When was the last time you bought a 2-4?
The big bottle = wine chat had me thinking about the last time I bought a 12-pack or case of beer.
I'm sure most people; here have bought a 24 case more recently than me, but I'm curiosu to hear!
My last 24 was bought around 6 years ago.
The only reason I bought it was because I had a volleyball game to go to and forgot to bring a t-shirt. So I went in to The Beer Store and bought some crappy beer that came with a free shirt.

Prima Pils about three years ago. Even then I think it was only because a 2-4 was the minimum for shipping to my local LCBO. Other than that I'm not sure I've ever bought a 2-4.
As for 12 packs I've bought both Sleeman IPA and a Mcauslan mixed pack within the last couple of years.
I prefer regular variety and since I don't store beer for more than a few weeks that means six packs plus lots of singles.

In the last two years I can only think of two 12-packs that I've bought (Stonehammer Maple Red and St. Ambroise Blonde). It's hard to commit to a beer in very large volumes, especially with homebrew stocks.
If Newfoundland sold 24's back when I was in living there my house would have been full of 24s of 1892. Now, with the selection here, there is very little reason to be a one-beer drinker.

I got 24 RPAs when it came back.
Mind you it was 4 six packs that they just repackaged in a box for me.
The last closed 12 pack I guess I bought (from TBS) was during the spring/summer when Muskoka released the survival pack. I may buy that pack again if they do another one off beer.

Over the past year: Two cases of Lag Sucks more recently. Maybe a half dozen cases of the first batch of RPA. One or two cases of Red Racer.
It's a recent development. Not something I would normally do, but the GF will only drink big hoppy *PAs lately, and she's very particular about them. Now that the weather is warmer and I am brewing again, cases are much more unlikely. Unless a new batch of Sucks comes out..
Last "true" 12-pack was way too long ago, have no idea. Have almost bought the SN Beer Camp pack a few times but that's the closest I've come in a while.

A shark on whisky is mighty risky. A shark on beer is a beer engineer.

Never bought a 24 in my life, and the last 12 pack I bought was the Phillips Hop Box last year. 4 packs, 6 packs or singles for me.
