Perfect Day
A slow sunny afternoon with no work to do + one Henry James novel + one pint of Granite IPA + one pint of Headstrong Pale Ale + one bottle of Lagunitas Maximus + the patio at Bar Volo = A Perfect Day.
Outstanding.

Speaking of Volo, look what I just found:
http://www.barvolo.com/
It includes a beer list, although the Lagunitas isn't mentioned. I guess I'll just have to go over there myself to make sure antirealist isn't lying... heh.

Sweet! Unless Ken is still supplying him with Nutcracker I'd say the beer menu is pretty out of date though.

Withe the addition of the Lagunitas, the US and Canadian part of the online list looks pretty accurate from what I remember - I didn't look at the Belgians. The Lagunitas was pretty expensive BTW, but I couldn't resist it. Also, they're out of Sarge at the moment, and Headstrong is on in it's place.
Well no good - if it's electronic, people will assume it's current. Kind of discourteous.JerCraigs wrote: I'd say the beer menu is pretty out of date though.
If they wish to attract business why don't they type a few keys and update the listing. It works well for blackboards in bars!

Couldn't agree more. Particularly as they rotate their cask beers regularly. If there was some way of knowing what's on this week, I'm sure I'd be very tempted to visit often. As it's a bit of a hike for me, I'm less inclined to drop in on spec.Well no good - if it's electronic, people will assume it's current. Kind of discourteous.
