Glass for Orval

Post by cheechonaleash »

Greetings! Have a question for everyone. I picked up a few bottles of Orval released to the LCBO this year. I have held off on drinking any for a bit because I've been trying to find a chalice to drink them from. However, no luck so far. But I'm just getting too impatient! What other type of glass have you had good experiences with drinking Orval? Thanks in advance for any helpful responses.

The Orval chalice has a particularly wide opening (top?).
Any chalice will really do however.
Chimay chalices are a lot easier to obtain and have the rim in silver just like the Orval.
