Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Summer Beers 2013
So the general list has, I think, changed up a bit over the past year. What's everyone stocking up on for the 3 minutes of BBQ season we get in our fair province?
I've been on a Kichesippi kick lately. Tasty beer with mass appeal for guests. I also buy up some Saison Dupont whenever I see a bottle.

Outside of Bellwoods and Junction (the latest Pilsner iteration bottled up this past Thursday is FANTASTIC) - which I've been frequenting lately - LCBO offerings go like this: GLB Crazy Canuck, Nickel Brook Naughty Neighbour, Amsterdam/GLB Maverick & Gose, Muskoka Summer Weiss, Beau's Festivale. Need to get out to Black Oak soon to test how many Summer Saisons I can carry on my bicycle.

Has been a go-to for me as well. I find it odd that many are raving about Mikkeler Canadian Dream, which I think is very one dimensional, when a fantastic, hop forward, lighter beer is available from an Ontario brewery.midlife crisis wrote:Really like the Naughty Neighbour.
I used to sell beer. Now I don't.
I didn't like my first bottle of Naughty Neighbour, but it really grew on me. I'll be picking up some more this week.
Otherwise, hopefully some fresh Founders Centennial will show up as we're a few 6pk's away from being completely out in Ottawa (stock is thin everywhere though it appears). Miami Weiss for however long it kicks around the shelves. Whatever I feel like from Beyond The Pale. And...Stiegl Radler.
Wish I could regularly get Wizard Wolf.

There was a posting on the Founders newsletter and website that because of some delays/issues with expansion there are slowing down on new markets "for now" to ensure that primary markets remain and appropriate stocks levels... sounds like bad news for our market even though its just temporary.Kekumba wrote: Otherwise, hopefully some fresh Founders Centennial will show up as we're a few 6pk's away from being completely out in Ottawa (stock is thin everywhere though it appears).
