GLB was hit pretty hard by the power outage. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery! Time to hit my nearest LCBO for some GLB beer.

Shitty deal. I'll pick up a few on the way home. Not so much for support but because supply is going to get constricted here for a bit.

I wonder how Black Oak and Cool fared.

As a home brewer, nothing ever goes down the drain. Maybe the higher temps will have done something interesting. In an era where spoiled/sour/lambic/rotten/whatever beers are the latest trend, they may have a hit on their hands and can sell it as a one-off.

hmmm... Hurricane Weiss...

I guess it is a trade of right. I mean it is still fermenting right? So if it is probably bad and they leave it in the fermentor/move it to the conditioning tanks, bottle it they are spending a bunch of labour and take up tank space on something that they might not be able to sell.

That REALLY sucks... it could be a lot of lost revenue in this prime beer-drinking season.

I'll be certain to pick up some of their brews when I'm back for a visit in the fall (though I probably would anyway, as they do some great stuff!).
