Introducing Light Mode! If you would like a Bar Towel social experience that isn't the traditional blue, you can now select Light Mode. Go to the User Control Panel and then Board Preferences, and select "Day Drinking" (Light Mode) from the My Board Style drop-down menu. You can always switch back to "Night Drinking" (Dark Mode). Enjoy!

More evidence that Clark's will re-open this fall:

The article claims they signed a lease for an undisclosed "downtown" location starting in September and they expect to open in November (after renovations). An earlier article had listed 311 W. Fayette St as a possible new location. We'll be in Syracuse in early October so I'll try to take a look around.

The latest info I saw says Clark's Ale House is re-opening sometime in the Winter/Spring at 321-325 S. Clinton St (looks to be roughly across the street from the Syracuse Suds Factory).

I wonder if Toronto bars know this is a killer formula. I used to go get the Marrakech Club sandwiches at The Only Café all the time.iguenard wrote:I will GREATLY miss their sandwich and relaxed atmosphere.
But we can discuss 'reliable Toronto bar eats' another thread, another day.

I know we've heard it before but Clark's is supposed to be re-opening later this year:

Their facebook page has some pictures:

We're heading down for the Oct 5th football game against Clemson but I doubt it'll be open by then.
