Gatineau - bottle purchases
Bought 6, tasted one last night, was out-freaking-standingly delicious. Way better than the 2010 barrel aged BP.

That's a pretty aggressive expansion for Bieres du Monde. I find their prices higher than my other usual suspects on the Quebec side but they also do a lot of promotions on Facebook to bring the prices down.
With Brou Ha Ha planning on moving to a bigger location, the craft beer market in Gatineau must be growing pretty fast.
Won't be long before Gatineau has more stores selling craft beer than Ottawa has Beer Stores.

Wow, that's quite the expansion. The original location at the mall is still most convenient for me, but good for them I suppose.
Does Broue Ha Ha have a location in mind or just rumours? I was in there today looking for glassware. Gilles gave me the biggest 'WTF' look ever when I walked out without any bottles in hand.
Also, I rarely go to BDT, but are any of their BA offerings worth the $24.99 price? Seems a bit steep to me.

There are very few bottles from ANY brewery worth that kind of price tag from my perspective.Kekumba wrote: Also, I rarely go to BDT, but are any of their BA offerings worth the $24.99 price? Seems a bit steep to me.
The one or two barrel-aged beers I've had from them over the years were fine (on tap anyway), but I can't justify even half that price for a bottle of anything I've had from them.
I adore their Mea Magna Culpa aged in bourbon. To me it's worth it.
I really don't have a problem with their prices, they are a brewpub. They are not in production and would rather you come in to their establishment and buy the beer there. If they made it significantly cheaper to drink at home that demand would overwhelm them and they wouldn't be able to bottle it fast enough based on their current set up.
I love a lot of their beers and purposely go to the brewpub at lunch by myself just so that I can enjoy one.
