Your review of the Burlington location didn't seem overwhelmingly good. Can you elaborate? Was Muskoka Harvest Ale the only decent craft tap? How many taps overall? What were the other selections?hopdevil wrote: It will be nice for Mississauga beer drinkers to have

This is close to home for me too, so I hope to see good things from it...

Check out the Burlington menu: similar to Milton ( Live Bait Ale House )

It's a good looking place - great for watching the games
Tough to find a better craft beer selection ( tap / can / bottle ) in these parts

It's Open
Visited twice today. It's a good-looking place with lots of TVs.
Service was great, once at a table, the other time at the bar.
Food: their chicken is excellent - I had the Tennessee Chicken entree tonight and a sandwich at lunchtime.
Special of the day ( Thursday ) was a 32 oz stein of Naughty Neighbour for $7.99+
Here's the beer menu: http://ribeyejacksalehouse.com/Streetsville/Beer.html
They also had Muskoka Detour, which is not on the menu. It's the stein special on Sundays.
Thursday night cask was Stonehammer Winter Ale. They had Nickelbrook Maple Porter on cask for opening night.
Great addition to the Mississauga beer and restaurant scene.

@hopdevil - thanks for the review.
Unfortunately, this place is exactly the opposite of what I want to see in a craft beer bar/restaurant. If I want to drink bottles, I will stay home. I go out seeking draft and their draft list is below average for a place attempting to specialize in craft.
That bottle list won't stay fresh.
Here's to hoping that they step up the quality of the taps and spend less time on the bottles...

I guess so, but it's also about four times as good as anything within a ten mile radius is it not? I mean there's 666, Mad Tom, Naughty Neighbour, Welly ESB. Already two different casks. Sounds pretty good for the otherwise wretched 'burbs. I'm looking forward to using it as a west end post-golf destination, personally.TheSevenDuffs wrote:Unfortunately, this place is exactly the opposite of what I want to see in a craft beer bar/restaurant. Here is their current draft / can / bottle list:

Recent Thursday casks: Quick Brown Fox ESB, Twice as Mad Tom
