I was in the states last weekend and backwoods was the same price as FBS, wonder why the difference at the lcbo

Although I don't see it on the LCBO site - I picked up six Orval tonight at the Front St LCBO. 3.60 a bottle. Damn - I'm happy!

There was a case of it on the shelf at King and Spadina in Toronto yesterday. I got there around 12:30pm and about one-third of the bottles were already gone. I grabbed four, along with some Founders and was on my way.
It must've sold out yesterday.

"9.95!? That's way too expensive for a single 330" (Renaissance Tribute Barley Wine). Luckily that's what the LCBO worker thought, rang it up with the domestic single bottle code (2 bucks!) wheeew
