Wanted: Partners

Post by schredder »

Hi all,

I'm planning on starting a new brewing operation in the GTA. Given financial constraints and risks, I'm aiming to contract at first, in spite of the limitations to doing so, and to acquire necessary equipment, space, etc. once the concept is proven and volume reaches a point that it makes sense to take the next step. Rest assured, I'm aware of the many challenges that go along with this, which is why I'm being careful in my approach. I'm currently in the process of refining my ideas on what products to launch (two in mind), operations, and sales and marketing.

I'm looking for partner(s) to help divide and conquer. I realize it's near impossible to do this alone and would like to meet and ultimately pair up with like-minded, aspiring entrepreneurs who want to turn their passion for the product into a business. Depending on the nature and level of involvement, this can take the form of a formal partnership/shareholder agreement with direct ownership interests in the company, or a commission- or royalty-based arrangement. At the moment, sales is the conern I'm most focused on addressing. Please send me a private message if interested, with any comments or questions you may have. Will try to reply as soon as I can.

Cheers,
Mike

A dollop of awesomeness would do to help move this along. I'd also accept a knack for making and learning from mistakes.

As for discussing everything here, I'd rather not say too much publicly at this point... maybe once I'm closer to launch, which is months away. While I welcome open and honest feedback from the group, I just want to keep some ideas tucked away until they're more fully developed. But I can tell you that a lager may be one of the products I have in mind.

Cheers,
Mike
