I was a bit surprised that the Stone beers had already gone from the tap list at a few bars so quickly - Volo and Bar Hop for example. But I suppose it makes sense with their frequently changing taps.

On that US import note though, it seems like Ommegang Hennepin has been on tap at Bar Hop since it first arrived many, many months ago.

I wasn't. But I guess that is sort of the central point of the discussion we've been having about the arrival of these beers.

It occurs to me that bars in the USA rotate Stone beers on and off their taps as well. It's probably just easier than adding more and more tap lines every week.

Yeah, fair point, particularly at bars that regularly rotate their lineup, like the ones mentioned. What I was really hopeful of, and it may still happen, is Stone or SN or both getting taps at some of the mediocre chains (Milestones, Jack Astors, you name it) where their presence would be a significant upgrade on what's available. Besides Bier Markt, have any such establishments put them on? Fionn MacCools, say, would be another good candidate. I was in a Rib Eye Jacks the other day, but no dice. (Had a perfectly good IPA from Junction, so not complaining).
